BOU is a tech-first company that designs and ships products (primarily software, often hardware) and operates across five sectors that matter for the next decade in Africa.

Some of those businesses are live and shipping. Others are still being built. We're honest on every sector page about which is which.

Technology

Shipping products: Xtate, Ninja, BOSS, BOUCloud. Plus custom builds for clients who need systems that don't exist off the shelf. The deepest part of what we do today.

Real Estate

Property management and operations across Nigeria, run on our own platform. Where our property tech meets our property business. Both sides of the same problem.

Research & Design

Energy

Smart filling stations and solar consumption analytics. Closing the data gap in fuel retail and household energy. Currently in design and prototyping.

Build & Validate

Agriculture

Active test farm in Kurudu, Abuja. 5.7 hectares acquired in Nasarawa State for scale. Building toward a vertically integrated natural-food supply chain, farm to shelf.

Quietly ongoing

Education

Supporting students one at a time, formal and vocational. Five students over five years. The work we'd do whether or not anyone was looking.

Why this shape

Each sector matters. The whole is the point.

BOU operates across sectors because each one matters in markets we want to serve. The commercial work (technology, property, eventually energy and agriculture) generates revenue and grows.

A portion of that revenue funds the part of the work that doesn't have a business model: education. The bigger the commercial side gets, the more we can do everywhere else.
